What I Believe

Writer: Amy FoxAmy Fox

I want to share with you the foundation of my faith—truths that have shaped my life and given me hope, peace, and purpose.

I believe in God the Father, the Creator of all things—the heavens, the earth, and every living being. He is the author of life, a loving Father who knows us intimately and desires a relationship with us.

I believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who walked this earth fully human and fully divine. Jesus came to reveal God’s love for us and to reconcile us to Him. His life was an example of compassion, humility, and unwavering obedience to God. Through His death on the cross, He bore the weight of all our sins, and three days later, He rose again, defeating death and offering us eternal life. By believing in Jesus, we are forgiven and made "white as snow" in God’s eyes—a profound gift of grace that I cherish daily.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the gift Jesus promised to those who believe. The Holy Spirit is our counselor, comforter, and healer, dwelling within us to guide, strengthen, and transform us. The Spirit is far more powerful and wonderful than we can comprehend, and I am continually amazed by how the Spirit moves in my life.

I also believe we face a real enemy—whether you call it the devil, evil, or even the ego. This enemy seeks to deceive, divide, and destroy, but we are not without hope. God has given us tools to resist and overcome: His Word, the power of prayer, and the assurance that Jesus has already won the ultimate victory.

Finally, I believe in renewal through prayer and gratitude. Prayer connects us to God, renews our minds, and brings us peace. Gratitude shifts our perspective and reminds us of God’s goodness, even in challenging times. Together, prayer and gratitude are powerful practices that anchor me in faith and keep me moving forward with hope.

This is the heart of what I believe, and I’d love to hear your thoughts or share in your journey of faith. Let’s grow together as we seek truth and live out the incredible promises God has for us.

Blessings to you!
